2Drive Unit: Includes Drive Motor and Drive Motor Controller. 3Spare Part: If the warranty period of the spare part is shorter than the remaining basic coverage period of the parts on the complete vehicle, the warranty period of the part shall be extended until the remaining warranty period of basic coverage expires. 4Vehicles must be serviced as to the manufacturers schedules to maintain your warranty on the vehicle: Whole Care Warranty coverage is subject to the vehicle being repaired and maintained in accordance with the BYD Owner’s Manual and Service Schedule. Improper repairs, failure to complete scheduled maintenance within the specified time/mileage intervals, or missing/unverifiable maintenance records will result in ineligibility for Whole Care Warranty coverage. BYD Hybrid (DM-i) Warranty Coverage
For BYD plug‑in hybrid (DM‑i) models, the warranty structure follows the same principle, with vehicle warranty covering manufacturing defects, battery and electric components covered under the extended high‑voltage warranty, and hybrid‑specific systems protected when serviced in line with BYD recommendations.
