BYD DOLPHIN SURF battery size

The BYD DOLPHIN SURF comes in three trim levels: Active, Boost, and Comfort. The Active model comes with a 30kWh battery offering up to 137 miles electric range. The Boost and Comfort specifications both have a 43.2 kWh battery, offering up to 200 miles electric range and 193 miles electric range respectively.

The DOLPHIN SURF features BYD’s super-safe Blade Battery and inherits the safety attributes of the revolutionary e-Platform 3.0, which provides a safe body structure that’s unique to electric cars.

Charging times

The DOLPHIN SURF supports DC fast charging up to 85kW, allowing you to go from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes, perfect for quick top-ups during errands or coffee breaks. For even faster boosts, 30% to 80% can be achieved in just 22 minutes, giving you up to 200 miles of range with minimal downtime.

Charging port

The charging port is located on the front driver side of the car, and it’s fitted with a Type 2 charging port.
