Interior innovation
The interior of the BYD ATTO 3 brings ‘affordable luxury’ to mind. The common touch points of the steering wheel and door pulls have been trimmed in soft touch materials for comfort, while the switches and buttons ensure finding common functions is straightforward and convenient, another example of safety and comfort. Ergonomic sports seats provide a fantastically comfortable drive, especially with the heated seats and electronically adjustable positioning.
The cabin is spacious and comfortable, which is mirrored in the back seats. Thanks to the design of the e-Platform 3.0, the floor in the rear is entirely flat; the lack of centre tunnel provides ample leg room for rear passengers. The boot provides a competitive 440 litres, increasing to a standard 1,338 litres with the rear seats folded flat, providing functionality and practicality.
BYD technology
The 15.6-inch infotainment system is a strong contender among its rivals, with ease of use and responsive results to the touch screen. In another innovative and unique design choice, the infotainment screen allows you to change its orientation at the touch of a button. The landscape screen is considerably easier to use when selecting media functions, and the portrait screen is perfect for sat-nav instructions.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow you to link your mobile phone with the media system, accessing supported apps from third-party providers such as Spotify. Intelligent Voice Control allows you to keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.
The over-the-air (OTA) function keeps your system upgraded, ensuring you’re always up to date for the best possible service.
BYD ATTO 3 performance
The BYD ATTO 3 has a competitive range at 260 miles, and top-up is standard, charging from 30% to 80% battery in just 29 minutes. With the ATTO 3 undeniably designed with comfort in mind, the suspension is more than adept at absorbing the results of uneven roads. It’s happy to take corners with precise positioning, and it offers a smooth acceleration from 0-62mph in 7.3 seconds.
