GWM ORA 2023 Wrapped: from our website launch to our involvement in local events, and the announcement of our new models.
Launching GWM ORA South West
Following GWM ORA’s introduction into the UK earlier this year, City West Country partnered with the pioneering electric brand and opened a Sales Centre, Test Drive Centre, and Service Centre in the heart of Exeter’s Marsh Barton. We then expanded to include a Test Drive Centre and Service Centre in Plymouth, as well as a Service Centre in Truro.
We’re also excited to announce that GWM ORA’s Exeter Showroom has been undergoing a state-of-the-art refurbishment.
On top of our launch, we filmed a road trip video, attended events and shows, and made many new acquaintances along the way.
New model
After the release of the GWM ORA 03, which was accompanied by an exclusive Test Drive event, GWM ORA announced the release of the limited edition ORA 03 PRO+, of which only 50 were made.
New naming strategy
Among all of the ‘new’ things happening at GWM ORA this year, they also announced a new strategic brand direction, including a new naming convention.
From January 2024, the naming strategy will see the ORA Funky Cat become the ORA 03, with the incoming premium saloon adopting the name ‘ORA 07’ when it launches.
