City West Country are proud to announce their partnership with Recovery Devon.
Over the coming months, Recovery Devon will be working alongside CWC to deliver training to managers to upskill their knowledge around mental health awareness.
Who are Recovery Devon?
Recovery Devon are a community-interest company who are dedicated to creating opportunities for recovery in Devon. They support recovery and wellbeing in two ways: as a personal vision, and as a base to promote change in mental health attitudes and provisions.
Supported by the Devon Partnership Trust, their partnership includes people who have lived through the experience of mental health issues and their supporters and families, alongside mental health practitioners.
What are the benefits of the training?
Recovery Devon will aim to inform employees about the support that CWC offers to employees and their families, and encourage them to utilise our services.
These training sessions and resources will also reach the wider community, as individuals will be learning how to support their friends and family as well as their colleagues.
