The BYD South West Exeter showroom is turning one and it’s been an exciting first year.
BYD have sponsored the UEFA EUROs, attended Goodwood Revival festival, and even featured in a segment on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
We’re also looking forward to being at Boardmasters Festival next week.
It’s no joke that BYD have demonstrated they’re serious about making the BYD name known in the UK.
BYD have launched three new models in their UK lineup, and we’ve got lots more to look forward to over the next couple of years.
But let’s take a look at what BYD South West have achieved in our first year.

We are proud to have become the short sponsors for Topsham Rugby Club, showing our commitment to supporting local sports and the community.
We displayed the BYD SEAL at Cars & Cuppas
Our participation in the Cars & Cuppas event allowed us to connect with local car enthusiasts and showcase our innovative vehicles to a completely different audience.
BYD Dream Weekend
We were one of the first UK BYD retailers to hold a BYD Dream Weekend event, and what a success it was!
This event offered an immersive experience for attendees, allowing them to explore the full range of BYD cars and learn about our cutting-edge technology and sustainable solutions.
We showcased our Motability Cars at The Big Event
Our presence at The Big Event was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our BYD Motability cars, highlighting BYD’s dedication to making electric vehicles accessible to everyone.
We received incredible feedback and were thrilled to demonstrate how our cars can improve quality of life.
BYD Ambassadors
We were delighted to have top athletes like Immanuel Feyi-Waboso from the Exeter Chiefs and England Football Player, Ollie Watkins as BYD ambassadors.
We were very excited to handover their BYD SEALs to them!
BYD Truro and BYD Plymouth
And last but not least, we are very excited to announce that we are opening BYD South West Truro and Plymouth showrooms, exactly a year after BYD South West Exeter opened.
We’re looking forward to expanding BYD South West and look forward to selling many more New Energy Vehicles in the South West.
