Meet BYD Plymouth's Transaction Manager
Ryan started in the motor trade as a trainee sales executive at Vospers SEAT in 2016. He then joined the City West Country family in 2018 through Mercedes-Benz of Plymouth as a sales executive.
Ryan then decided to leave the automotive industry briefly in December 2023 to work for Watches of Switzerland and run the Breitling Boutique in Drake Circus shopping centre.
And now he’s back at City West Country to do great things with his new BYD role as Transaction Mangaer.

Where are you from?
Born in Surrey, but lived in Plymouth for 20 years
What job did you want when you were younger?
Firefighter.
What are you most looking forward to working at BYD South West?
Being involved to help open and grow BYD Plymouth from the beginning.
What's your most-used productivity hack?
Setting myself mini goals to achieve during a big project to stay motivated and feel a sense of accomplishment along the way.
Tea or coffee?
Coffee.
What was your first car?
Volkswagen Polo.
What's your favourite thing to do on the weekends?
Spending time with my partner and two year old daughter.
Which of the BYD cars is your favourite?
The BYD SEAL is my favourite model. I love the sleek design and all the technology that comes with it.
What's your favourite food?
My go to comfort food has to be a meat feast pizza.
What tv series are you currently binge-watching?
I have just finished watching The Gentleman – a brilliant series!
