What a whirlwind of a year 2024 has been at City West Country, from model launches to businesses expansions, events to partnerships. We have much more to come in 2025 which we are very much looking forward to.
New models

BYD South West
At BYD South West, we’re excited to welcome the BYD SEALION 7 to our fleet. BYD’s fifth UK model, the BYD SEALION 7 combines sporty performance, SUV design, and cutting-edge technology. Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, the SEALION 7 will offer fast charging and improved powertrain capabilities.
Mercedes-Benz South West
Coming to Mercedes-Benz South West next year is the new Mercedes-Benz CLA. The next generation model is expected to be released in March 2025, and will be a fully electric saloon. It will be the first of four all-new ‘entry luxury’ models by Mercedes-Benz based on a new platform called MMA (Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture). The platform was designed to be ‘electric first’.
smart
The smart #5 will be joining smart’s fully-electric line-up as a premium mid-size SUV equipped with state-of-the-art electric drive, ADAS technologies and a seamless, intelligent cockpit. The smart #5 is the most versatile vehicle in its product portfolio to date, and combines outdoor-oriented featured and integrated equipment accessories for off-roading.
New sites
Following the launch of Tangelo Plymouth, we’re excited to announce that the new Customer Hub will be located at 182 Billacombe Road, Plymouth, PL9 7HE.
BYD Plymouth will also be moving to the same location to accommodate its demand. We look forward to welcoming you to our new premises!
Vans
In 2024, Mercedes-Benz South West became the exclusive sales outlet for new Mercedes-Benz Vans in the South West. Since then, we have grown our experienced teams to include Local Business Development Managers ensure the promise of high-end customer service is met within each of our sites. We have invested in extensive training for our technicians to keep them up to date on all new models, whether they are fuel-powered, hybrid, or electric, offering a high level of expertise. We also offer Service24 Van Roadside Assistance: 24 hour support, with a response time of under 60 minutes and an average roadside repair rate of 80%, you’ll be moving in no time.
Mobile Servicing
We are excited to see the growth of the Mercedes-Benz Mobile Servicing initiative. This service has been created for our Mercedes-Benz of Exeter customers, allowing for scheduled and planned maintenance and repair services to be undertaken at your home, office, or desired location defined by you. Because the Mobile Service is not tied to capacity utilisation or the location of a local workshop, it fits more easily into the day-to-day lives of our customers, offering a unique experience bringing the Mercedes-Benz standards to you.
Events
2025 will see the return of county events, such as Devon County Show, Royal Cornwall Show, and Armed Forces Day. For the first time ever, we will be promoting our multi-brand franchise with a City West Country pitch, offering you the very best of what we do.
