Our Exeter showroom expansion
We completed our showroom expansion at the end of 2023, allowing for more GWM ORA models to be displayed and extra room for new models due to be released soon such as the ORA 07.
We celebrated our showroom expansion with a launch event in February, collaborating with local brands including alcohol free drinks from PiQi, a grazing table from Graze and S’more and sweet treats from Shaldon Bakery. We also hosted an exciting competition in the showroom across the weekend with many customers taking part to win a prize.
Plymouth sales centre
In July 2023, we opened our GWM ORA sales centre in Plymouth, offering test drives of the ORA 03 in Britain’s Ocean City. Plymouth is also home to one of GWM ORA South West’s service centres. Plymouth is the ideal place to offer city driving and scenic routes along the coast and towards Dartmoor.
GWM ORA UK’s 1000th handover
GWM ORA South West Exeter were pleased to handover the 1000th vehicle GWM ORA in the UK in January 2024. Purchasing one of the final ORA Funky Cat First Edition+ before the relaunch, Lawrence said: “As a designer, it was the design and flare of the car that initially attracted me to the [ORA 03]. I was delighted this autumn when I learned about the ORA Funky Cat First Edition+, as it had all of the features that I was looking for at an affordable price point, especially considering the 63kWh battery and the added features like panoramic sunroof, heated seats, and heated steering wheel.”
The Great South West Road Trip
In the Summer of 2023, we took the ORA 03 out for an adventure across the South West, taking in the beautiful sights the South West has to offer and experiencing some of the best places Devon and Cornwall has to offer. These include stops at Cranch’s Sweet Shop in Salcombe, The Bodmin Jail Hotel, The Headland Hotel in Fistral, Newquay and Plymouth Hoe. Watch our full trip on our YouTube channel.
