Location: Mercedes-Benz of Taunton
Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 – 18.30 with 1 hour lunch and Saturday AM on a rota.
Salary: £20,463.93 per annum OTE (£39,163.93) Uncapped

Are you a motivated and experienced sales professional with a background in the van and commercial vehicle industry? We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Van Sales Specialist at Mercedes-Benz of Taunton. This role is instrumental in establishing and supporting our growing van sales operation, so we’re looking for someone with a strong track record in commercial sales and a passion for building customer relationships.

Van Sales Specialist responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow the van sales operation at our Taunton location.
  • Build relationships with customers and understand their commercial needs to offer the best Mercedes-Benz van solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to optimize pricing and achieve profit targets.
  • Liaise with our service department and other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Organize and manage vehicle preparation and online marketing, coordinating with the workshop as needed.
  • Prepare and do live video presentations and other customer engagement activities.
  • Handle administrative aspects of sales transactions to meet customer expectations.
  • Proactively manage a contact diary, ensuring all leads are maximized.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements for continued success.

What is required from you?

  • Proven experience in van sales or commercial sales.
  • A high level of motivation, professionalism, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Effective computer skills and excellent organisational abilities.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
