We have an rare and exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join our Light Commercial Vehicle (Van) team in Taunton as a LCV Sales Consultant.

About the Role
You will be responsible to connect with potential customers, understand their automotive needs, and guide them through the entire sales process. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is key, as is staying informed about the latest industry trends and product knowledge.

Salary

£20,463.93 per annum OTE £39,463

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 08.30 – 18.00 with a 1 hour lunch break.

LCV Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Liaises with service department and central teams
  • Ensures system records are updated on our Mercedes-Benz website
  • Organises and prepares vehicles in line with company standards and ensures marketing content is up to date. Liaising with the workshop where required.
  • Work with the LCV Business Development Manager to ensure that the pricing of the vehicles meet profit requirements
  • Assesses used Vans and conducts technical appraisals on part exchange vehicles
  • Completes test drives and evaluates to line manager
  • Undertake final checks of vehicle to ensure quality of preparation is in accordance with required standards and communicates with logistics department.
  • Ensures all processes are effectively managed pre & post-delivery in line with the company & franchise requirements.
  • Offers sound advice and product knowledge to customers on vehicles, prices, specifications and technical data
  • Supporting the LCV Business Development Manager with Live Video
  • Reviews customer satisfaction and implements improvements
  • Organises all administrative aspects of the transaction in line with the customers expectation
  • Run an efficient contact management diary, ensuring all leads are maximised
  • Communicates clearly, regularly and promptly with customers and colleagues across all business areas
