About the Role
The successful candidate will be dealing with both internal and external customers and also being responsible for developing parts sales business, identifying new business opportunities and promoting the company’s products and services.

Salary

Including OTE up to £29,500

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday shift pattern between the hours of 08.00 – 18.00 with a 30 minute lunch break, plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00 – 13.00.

Parts Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Develops parts sales business, identifying new business opportunities and promoting the company’s products and services
  • Ensures monies are collected from customers for all cash invoices and being responsible for its safekeeping
  • Effectively liaises with relevant departments across the business
  • Gives customer focus priority throughout the parts operation
  • Communicates and develops strong professional relationships with customers to deliver a high level of service
  • Ensures that the customer is fully informed of any changes to costs including invoice explanation and advising on any future requirements
  • Ensures that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, referring any unresolved problems to the Parts Supervisor/Manager
  • Demonstrates willingness and ability to accurately interpret manufacturer parts deliveries
  • Demonstrates willingness and ability to replenish stock in line with company warehouse location system
  • Builds good relationships with manufacturers, professional bodies, suppliers and statutory representatives
  • Maintains effective service information by ensuring all relevant marketing information is maintained on the customer/prospect database
