Job Description

Mercedes-Benz of South West are looking for a New Car Sales Administrator to join their team which will be based at our Site 5, Hill Barton.

The role is to provide administrative support for all new car administration ensuring all administration is completed with accuracy and in time. Following existing processes and implementing new processes.

£23,795.20 per annum (OTE £25,795.20)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.30 with 1 hour lunch.

New Car Sales Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Provides central administrative support to all sales team and new car ordering team in line with the company and our business partners’ standards and processes
  • Complete all necessary documentation including uploading of orders to the MBUK ‘Corporate’ system in respect of sold orders, ensuring forecasted delivery / registration dates are met and highlighting any problems
  • Monitor and report the status of vehicle deliveries to ensure that the vehicles are in a taxable position ie Approved & Transferred
  • Assist with the completion and updating of forward registration dates as required
  • Ensures all vehicles are removed from stock list and any necessary payments received
  • Completes stock maintenance records for the consignment of stock vehicles where necessary

What’s required from you?

  • Previous motor trade experience is desirable but not essential
  • Must be able to develop knowledge of vehicle specifications and vehicle ordering systems.
  • High level of computer skills including Microsoft office software (Excel & Word)
  • Good telephone and interpersonal skills
