Mercedes-Benz of South West site are currently looking for LCV Service Advisor to join our team at our Mercedes-Benz of Taunton (Van Aftersales).

About the Role
You will work closely with our workshop ensuring work is organised and completed, while utilising the workshop to its maximum capacity, always maintaining our highest levels of customer service expected.

Salary:

£25,000 depending on experience (£32,000 OTE)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 08.00 – 18.00 with a 1 hour lunch, Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manages resources within the workshop & front of house teams to deliver a quality service on time
  • Ensures customers/operators vehicle downtime (VOR) is kept to a minimum where servicing & repair schedules are meet to customer/operators expectations
  • Effectively liaises with relevant departments across the business
  • Gives customer focus priority throughout the service operation
  • Ensures that the customer is fully informed of any changes to costs including invoice explanation and advising on any future requirements
  • Delivers customers vehicle on time to a high standard of professionalism
  • Accurately create jobs cards with customer/operator and vehicle details
  • Attend to customer/operators incoming bookings, enquiries and customer concerns.
  • Maintain & update company reporting systems, daily operating controls (DOC) & dealer management system (DMS)
  • Manages the standard and quality of information required for Mercedes-Benz warranty claims
  • Meets regularly with the LCV Service Team Manager to review performance and suggest improvements

  • Previous service experience within the Motor industry (preferred)
  • Experience of a customer focused environment
  • Specialist/ technical product knowledge
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Admin and IT Skills
