An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the HR team of City West Country as a HR Advisor.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will assume HR responsibility for designated sites/businesses within the group. You will be based at Mercedes-Benz of Exeter, Marsh Barton.

Salary:

£32,000 – £34,000 per annum DOE.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00 or 08.30 – 17.30 with a 1 hour lunch break.

HR Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice on HR policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with management to effectively plan for the future
  • Develop and execute training programmes to enhance staff skills
  • Play a pivotal role in performance management and appraisals
  • Support management and employee’s to resolve employee relation issues

What’s required from you?

  • Proven experience as HR Advisor – ideally CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards qualification
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Team player
