Job Description

An exciting opportunity as arisen for a dynamic and experienced Head of Used Car Sales at City West Country.

This role will be based at our Site 5, Hill Barton, Exeter. Head of Used Car will oversee the Mercedes-Benz Online and Tangelo, as well as our used Trade and Smart Repair operations. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Head of Fleet and both will be reporting to the Sales Director.

Up to £83,000 OTE

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, Core hours 0800 – 1800

Head of Used Car Responsibilities:

  • Maximise sales and profitability through the delivery of the used car sales performance and smart repair operations
  • Manages used car sales customer enquiries and negotiations within the company and CWC standards and processes
  • Ensures the online presence of all used stock through various channels is accurate and to the highest standard.
  • Supports the head of Fleet in managing the logistics operation
  • Utilises analytical data to continue to grow the relevant departments
  • Manages resource allocation to optimise seasonal and promotional peaks
  • Maximises the use of all advertising and point of sale literature

What’s required from you?

  • Previous sales experience within the Motor industry
  • Practical experience in a Sales environment
  • Experience of managing a sales team in a customer focussed environment
  • Proven ability of delivering sales with their team
  • Specialist knowledge of F&I, consumer law and vehicle valuation
